Serralunga was founded in Biella in 1825. The name comes from the family that for six generations has been the beating heart, both creative and entrepreneurial, of the company, a manufacturer of outdoor furniture. Born as a tannery, it then moved on to leather processing for industrial purposes. The real revolution comes with the processing of plastic and then with the importation from the United States of the rotational design system from which many modern furniture and objects for outdoor lighting derive, all made in Italy design.

Located in the same place for almost two centuries, the company produces entirely Made in Italy design products, in Biella, in the homonymous street that the city wanted to dedicate to the Serralunga family, in a 12,000 m2 factory that employs 65 employees and involves about as many in related industries. Over 1,200 tons of plastic are processed here every year, for a total of around 200,000 pieces of garden furniture products.
